Our Mission
Our mission is simple. To provide you, the customer, with the best value for money accommodation in Wanganui. We aim to do this by providing clean and comfortable motel units, with friendly and helpful staff at a price that everyone can afford.
Pricing
The prices and rooms stated on the website are per person and include Goods & Services Tax at the rate applied by the NZ Government. Additional persons are also charged per night. Prices on this website may change without notice at any time.
Hours of Operation
Bignell Street Motel is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. However, we would appreciate it if you can let us know if you will be arriving late at night or early in the morning so we can make suitable arrangements to ensure you have quick and easy access to your motel room. Motel Policies, Refunds and Cancellations
- Once you have made a confirmed reservation with us, rooms are held for your exclusive occupation and are guaranteed.
- Earlier departure than the reserved date may not result in refund unless the management are able to re-let the accommodation, as per NZ Law all cancellations will incur a cancellation fee.
- Any cancellation fee charged will be refunded if we are able to re-let the unit(s), less a releting fee.
- We welcome your arrival any time after 8.00am and NZ check-out is by 10.00am on departure date.
- Late check-out after 10am is charged $3 per quarter hour.
- In consideration of future guests we respectfully request that you do not cook odorous foods in the units. On your departure, if required, we will engage a specialist cleaning company; and reserve the right and may charge such costs and any resulting loss of income.
- NO Smoking in the units. We reserve the right and may charge such costs for cleaning of the room and any resulting loss of income. Smoking is allowed outside the units. Butt Buckets are available.
- If payment of an account is not received by due date we reserve the right to add the following charges:
- Interest of 2.5% per month on outstanding balances plus an administration fee of $50.00
- Plus any debt collection and/or legal fees incurred to recover the debt.
- Your visitors are welcome in your unit, however we ask that they depart quietly prior to 9.30pm. We reserve the right to charge as "extra persons" any of your visitors on site after 10.00pm. Parties and large groups are not permitted.
- Management reserves the right to evict any person who is disturbing other guests staying at 86 Bignell Street Wanganui.
